Triumph TR6

The Triumph TR6, produced from 1969 to 1976, was the final evolution of the traditional body-on-frame TR series. It was a clever restyle of the TR5/TR250, with German firm Karmann redesigning the front and rear ends while retaining the core body structure. All TR6s used a 2.5-liter straight-6 engine, but European models received a 150 hp Lucas fuel-injection system while US-bound cars were fitted with Stromberg carburetors, producing a more modest 104 hp.

Collectors appreciate the TR6 for its blend of classic British roadster charm and usable performance. It's a very direct and engaging car to drive, with a fantastic exhaust note from its six-cylinder engine. Compared to its predecessors, it's more refined, but it still offers a raw, analog experience that modern cars lack.
