The Nissan Stagea WC34, produced from 1996 to 2001, is a station wagon built on the R33 Skyline and C34 Laurel platform. Its direct link to the Skyline is its main draw for collectors, offering the performance and feel of its sedan and coupe siblings in a more practical package. Most enthusiasts seek out the Series 2 (1998-2001) models for the updated styling and the more powerful RB25DET NEO engine, which produced 276 horsepower.

The most desirable and valuable version is the Autech 260RS. This factory-tuned halo car featured the 2.6L RB26DETT twin-turbo inline-6 from the R33 GT-R, a 5-speed manual transmission, and the ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system. These are often called 'GT-R wagons' and command the highest prices. The Stagea's unique combination of performance, utility, and tuning potential from the shared RB engine platform solidifies its place as a JDM icon.

The market for the Stagea is well-established, with an average sale price around $20,000 for clean, imported examples. Base, non-turbo models can be found for much less, but the top of the market is defined by the rare 260RS, which can sell for over $50,000. As more cars become eligible for import under the 25-year rule, supply has increased, but demand for well-preserved, turbocharged models remains strong.
