Summary
This 1974 Maico 440 motocross bike was ridden by US World Champion “Bad Brad” Lackey in the AHRMA VMX series from 2001 to 2004 and subsequently raced by the seller before being displayed in a museum for 10 years. It features a 440cc two-stroke single with a custom low-mounted exhaust, Works shocks, and a front drum brake from a period Yamaha YZ. The bike retains scuffs and scrapes from its time with the world champion and is offered with a spare aluminum fuel tank and a 2005 bill of sale signed by Brad Lackey.
