Summary
This 1961 MG Midget Mk I, reportedly among the first 1,000 produced, was repainted Tahiti Blue in 1980 and features a modified 948cc inline-four with a 4-speed manual transmission, including headers, an ANSA exhaust, and an electric fuel pump. Further modifications include a narrower rear axle for 13″ chrome knock-off wire wheels and front disc brake conversion, though the interior has black cloth sport seats, lacks door cards, and has a cracked dash with non-functional gauges and a stopped odometer. The engine has hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel but shows a weeping front main seal, and the car is offered with a clean California title.
