This TR4 is now offered on dealership consignment at no reserve with memorabilia, car show awards, spare parts, and a duplicate Delaware title listing the car as a 1963 model. The car is finished in red and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. Exterior details include a black convertible top, a top boot, fender-mounted mirrors, a single polished exhaust outlet, and chrome bumpers with overriders.
The chrome is pitted on the door handles, bumpers, hinges, and mirrors. The photos shown in the listing and gallery were taken in June 2022. Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels are secured via two-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with 165-series LeMans Steel-Belted Radial tires.
A full-size spare tire is stored below the trunk floor. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl upholstery with white piping and are accompanied by a color-coordinated dash pad, door panels, and carpets.
Amenities include crank side windows, a heater, a wood shift knob, and a cassette stereo. There are holes in the seats, and the radio tuning knobs are pitted. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and amperage are mounted in the center stack.
The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 5k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 2,138cc inline-four features a pair of SU carburetors, a polished valve cover, and a Lucas ignition coil.
An oil change was performed in preparation for sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Corrosion is present on underside components.
A spare speedometer, brake caliper, clutch assembly, radiator, wheels and tires, two-eared spinners, knock-off hubs, trim rings, center caps, memorabilia, and car show awards are included in the sale. The Delaware title is noted as a d uplicate .
