Honda NSR

The Honda NSR series began as a dominant force in Grand Prix racing, and that DNA directly influenced a line of road-going two-strokes. The family includes everything from the small NSR50 to the iconic NSR250R. Later NSR250R models like the MC21 and MC28 featured advanced technology for the era, including 90-degree V-twin engines and the PGM-IV card-based ignition system on the MC28.

Collectors chase the NSR for its raw, high-revving two-stroke powerband and direct connection to 90s GP racing. These bikes were never officially imported to the United States, so their rarity adds to the appeal. Limited production SP (Sport Production) models, especially those with factory Rothmans or Repsol racing liveries, are the most desirable variants.

Lower prices, often below $5,000, typically represent smaller displacement models or NSR250Rs needing significant work. The most valuable bikes are low-mileage, original SP models.
