How to Choose

  • For the lowest price, an early Model S or a Model 3. Check the mileage on each card: the cheapest cars are mostly older, high-mileage ones.
  • Ask the seller for a battery health report, and check whether free Supercharging or other perks transfer with the car.
  • A Model 3 Performance averages $29K and a Model Y Performance $28K.
  • The Model S Plaid ($58K) has fallen far below its new price, and Tesla quotes under 2 seconds to 60 mph for it.
  • These are sold prices from auctions, dealers and private sales we track, so they show what used Teslas actually change hands for.
