This 1911 Rolls-Royce 40/50 HP Silver Ghost is an early "parallel bonnet" model, known for its opulence and craftsmanship, and is one of the few surviving in unmolested condition. Chassis number 1544, with engine 45S, retains its original Rudge-Whitworth detachable wooden rims and nickel trim, and features a handsome low-doored tourer body commissioned from Lawton. Its extensive history and provenance are thoroughly documented by historians, including John Fasal.
