How to Choose

  • Each average covers a wide range. Check the range on each card: condition, mileage and coachwork move a car well above or below the average.
  • Older Rolls-Royces are cheap to buy and expensive to keep. The Silver Shadow and Silver Spur use a high-pressure hydraulic system that is costly to repair.
  • Modern Rolls-Royces lose much of their value in the first few years, so a used Ghost, Wraith or Phantom sells for a fraction of its price new.
  • On classics, coachbuilt bodies, long-wheelbase versions and documented history all raise prices.
  • These are sold prices from auctions, dealers and private sales we track, so they show what Rolls-Royces actually change hands for.
