This 1939 MG WA Drophead Coupe, chassis WA0417, was rediscovered in South Africa in the early 2000s as a bodiless chassis and subsequently fitted with a new open body in the style of Swiss coachbuilder Reinbolt & Christé. The engine and braking system were fully rebuilt in late 2020, including new gaskets, seals, and porcelain-coated exhaust manifolds. A truly unique bespoke MG.
