This rare 1968 BMW 1600 GT, one of only 1,255 built, underwent a comprehensive cosmetic and mechanical restoration in 2018 after being stored since 1974. It features its numbers-matching, rebuilt 1,573cc inline-four with twin Weber carburetors and has won awards at prestigious car shows. The odometer shows 14k kilometers since restoration, and it is believed to be one of just 13 examples in the US.
