From Hemmings
Super Fun to Drive 1971 Triumph TR6 Convertible I bought this car online and took a chance. That was 4 years ago, and it\'s been a labor of love. The car came as a modified TR-6, and my goal was to take the car back to its \"gentlemanly \"state.

So, I have removed the racing stripes, redone the interior, installed a new wood dash, new proper paint (no rust), and installed new Chrome. The one constant has been that this car is a beast. It runs and runs.
I have probably put 2,000 miles on it in my 4 years of ownership. Stored from November to April and babied. If anything needed fixing, it\'s been fixed.
It\'s not a show car, as the previous owners weren\'t as persnickety as I am. The engine was replaced with a TR-6 engine and has about 40k on it, but again, it\'s a great runner, super fun to drive, and looks beautiful. A real head turner.
