The Buick Wildcat began as a subseries of the Invicta in 1962 before becoming its own model line from 1963 to 1970. It was positioned as Buick's full-size performance model, blending style and power. Wildcats typically featured larger engines than the entry-level LeSabre, including Buick's famous "Nailhead" V8s like the 401 and 425 cubic-inch variants, delivering impressive torque.
