Cadillac ATS

The Cadillac ATS, produced from 2013 to 2019, was Cadillac's direct assault on the compact luxury sport sedan market dominated by Germany. Built on the superb rear-wheel-drive Alpha platform, which it shared with the Chevrolet Camaro, the ATS offered sharp handling and a balanced chassis. Powertrain options included a base 2.5L four-cylinder, a turbo 2.0L four-cylinder, and a naturally aspirated 3.6L V6, available in both sedan and coupe body styles.

The ATS-V is the model that grabs collectors' attention. With its 464 hp twin-turbo 3.6L V6 and an available 6-speed manual transmission, it was a genuine American alternative to the BMW M3. These V-series cars, especially the manuals, are the most sought-after and represent a high point for modern Cadillac performance. Standard models, particularly V6 coupes, are also seen as excellent value for their driving dynamics.

With an average sale price around $25,000, the ATS market is an accessible entry point for a modern luxury performance car. The wide price spectrum reflects the difference between high-mileage base sedans and pristine, low-mileage ATS-V models. As these cars continue to age, the best-preserved V-series examples are expected to hold their value well.
