Cadillac CT6

The Cadillac CT6 was the brand's flagship sedan from 2016 to 2020, developed to compete with top-tier German rivals. It was built on the advanced, aluminum-intensive Omega platform, giving it a weight advantage and sharp handling for its size. The car offered a range of powertrains, including a plug-in hybrid, but North American production ended after just 5 model years.

Collector focus is almost entirely on the limited-production CT6-V. Initially called the V-Sport for 2019, this model featured the exclusive 4.2-liter twin-turbo "Blackwing" V8. This hand-built, 550-hp engine was used only in the CT6, making these cars instant modern collectibles. Standard models are also gaining notice for their technology, including the Super Cruise semi-autonomous system, and for offering significant luxury at a depreciated price point.
