The HHR SS, introduced for 2008, is the model to own. It features a 2.0L turbocharged Ecotec LNF engine producing up to 260 horsepower, Brembo front brakes, and a performance-tuned suspension. These upgrades transformed the HHR into a legitimate sport compact, with an SS model even setting a Nürburgring lap record for its class. The rare Panel SS, which combined the cargo body with the turbo powertrain, is the most sought-after version.
