The current market reflects the Malibu's diverse history. The low average sale price of $8,301 is heavily skewed by the large number of modern, used Malibus with no collector value. Desirable classics, like a 1970 Malibu SS 396, can easily exceed $50,000, while project-grade G-body cars can still be found for under $5,000, offering a wide range of entry points for enthusiasts.
