Ford Transit Connect

The Ford Transit Connect arrived in the US for the 2010 model year, establishing a new segment for compact commercial vans. Based on a successful European model, it offered businesses a smaller, more fuel-efficient alternative to full-size vans. The second generation, launched in 2014, was a major update, sharing its platform with the Ford Focus and Escape, which gave it much improved, car-like driving dynamics.

While not a traditional collector vehicle, the Transit Connect has a strong following with 'van life' enthusiasts and small business owners.
