GMC S-15/Sonoma

The GMC S-15 debuted in 1982 as a compact pickup, a sibling to the Chevrolet S-10. It was GMC's entry into the small truck market that was dominated by Japanese imports. For the second generation in 1994, the truck was redesigned with more rounded styling and renamed the Sonoma. The platform was versatile, spawning various cab configurations and the legendary, high-performance Syclone.

Collector interest is heavily focused on special variants. The 1991 Syclone, with its 280 hp turbocharged 4.3L V6 and all-wheel drive, is the most valuable model, capable of out-accelerating many contemporary sports cars. Well-preserved standard models, particularly V6-equipped trucks from the 80s and 90s, are also gaining traction.
