Honda S800

The Honda S800 was the final evolution of the company's first family of sports cars, following the S500 and S600. Introduced in 1966, it featured a jewel-like 791cc DOHC 4-cylinder engine that could rev to an incredible 10,000 rpm, a direct result of Honda's motorcycle engineering expertise. Early models retained a motorcycle-style chain drive and independent rear suspension, which was later replaced by a more conventional live axle and driveshaft in 1968.
