Hyundai Veloster

Hyundai launched the Veloster for the 2012 model year, targeting buyers who wanted a sporty coupe with extra practicality. Its defining feature is the asymmetrical "3-door" layout, with a single large door on the driver's side and two smaller doors on the passenger side. Initial models used a modest 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine.

The model's enthusiast appeal grew significantly with the 2013 introduction of the Veloster Turbo, which added a 201-horsepower turbocharged engine. The second generation, launched in 2019, brought more refined styling and the high-performance Veloster N. With up to 275 horsepower from a 2.0-liter turbo and a 6-speed manual, the N is the version collectors seek out.

The Veloster market is still young, with an average price around $10,474 across 13 recent sales. Early, non-turbo cars represent the low end of the market, while late-model Veloster Ns command the highest prices. Since Hyundai has discontinued the model, the N variant's limited production and strong performance position it as a likely future collectible.

Prices range from $2,000 for early models to $27,000 for late-model N variants.
