Jeep KL Cherokee

The Jeep Cherokee KL, launched for the 2014 model year, represented a radical shift for the nameplate. It replaced the Liberty and moved from a traditional SUV architecture to a car-based crossover platform shared with the Chrysler 200 and Alfa Romeo Giulietta. This change improved on-road comfort and fuel economy, but its controversial split-headlight design was polarizing from the start.

The most desirable models are the Trailhawk variants, which feature a more advanced 4x4 system with a locking rear differential, increased ground clearance, and more aggressive styling. A significant 2019 facelift revised the front-end styling to be more conventional, creating a clear distinction in the market between earlier and later models.
