Jeep WS Wagoneer

Jeep revived the Wagoneer name for the 2022 model year on an all-new, body-on-frame platform shared with the Ram 1500 pickup. This full-size SUV slots above the Grand Cherokee L, offering 3 rows of seating and competing directly with domestic rivals like the Ford Expedition and Chevrolet Tahoe. The first models came standard with a 392-horsepower 5.7L Hemi V8 paired with a 48-volt eTorque mild-hybrid system.

The modern Wagoneer appeals to buyers looking for immense space, V8 power, and modern luxury appointments under a classic American nameplate. It's a highly capable SUV with a substantial towing capacity and a high-tech interior featuring the Uconnect 5 system. The early V8-powered models are of particular interest, as Jeep quickly began phasing them out in favor of the new 3.0L Hurricane twin-turbo inline-6 engine, making the V8 a relatively short-lived option for the new generation.

As a nearly-new vehicle, the Wagoneer's collector market is just beginning to form. Most sales are late-model used examples trading at a significant discount from their original sticker price. With an average sale price hovering around $46,000, they offer a lot of vehicle for the money, and values are still finding their floor as more enter the secondary market.

Prices range from approximately $28,900 for early models to nearly $55,000 for newer, well-optioned examples.
