KTM X-Bow

KTM, the Austrian motorcycle company, launched its first car, the X-Bow, in 2008. It was an audacious statement, built around a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque chassis developed with Italian race car constructor Dallara. Power comes from a mid-mounted, Audi-sourced 2.0L TFSI turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, creating a machine with a phenomenal power-to-weight ratio.

The X-Bow's appeal lies in its purity and track-day focus. It’s a direct competitor to cars like the Ariel Atom, offering a raw, unfiltered driving experience with no electronic driver aids on early models. Later variants like the X-Bow R and GT added more power and features like a windscreen and doors, broadening its appeal without diluting its core purpose.
