MV Agusta F3

Introduced in 2012, the MV Agusta F3 marked the brand's return to the middleweight supersport category. Initially launched as the F3 675, it featured a potent three-cylinder engine and a suite of electronics that was advanced for its time, including ride-by-wire throttle and multiple engine maps. An 800cc version followed, offering more torque and road-friendly power. The F3's design, penned by Adrian Morton, is a direct descendant of the iconic F4 and remains one of the most beautiful in its class.

Collectors prize the F3 for its exotic Italian heritage, sharp handling, and the distinct sound and feel of its triple engine. It's a more exclusive choice than its Japanese or even British rivals. Limited editions are the most desirable, particularly the initial 'Serie Oro' and the later Reparto Corse (RC) models, which feature performance upgrades and race-replica liveries. These special versions are the primary drivers of the high-end market for the F3.

The market shows a very wide price spread. Early 675 models with higher mileage can be found for less than $5,000, representing a bargain for an exotic. The average sale price sits around $16,000, heavily influenced by pristine, low-mileage standard models and the much higher prices achieved by the limited RC variants, which can exceed $40,000.

Prices range from around $3,700 for early base models to over $42,000 for top-spec, limited-edition variants.
