Packard Clipper

The Packard Clipper was introduced in 1941 as a modern, streamlined design that would eventually encompass the entire Packard line after World War II. Its advanced 'Sheer Look' styling was a departure from pre-war designs and represented Packard's effort to compete in the lucrative mid-priced market segment. The name was used through 1947, then revived from 1953 to 1957.

Collectors are drawn to the Clipper's blend of pre-war quality and post-war styling, especially in the earlier models. Top-tier cars like the Super Clipper and Custom Super Clipper, equipped with the large 356 cubic inch straight-8 engine, are highly prized.
