Volkswagen introduced the CC for the 2009 model year as a sleeker, more stylish alternative to the Passat sedan it was based on. Marketed as a 'four-door coupe,' it featured a swooping roofline, frameless door windows, and a more premium interior. Powertrain options included a 200 hp 2.0L turbo four-cylinder and a potent 280 hp 3.6L VR6, the latter available with 4Motion all-wheel drive. A 2013 facelift brought updated styling and a new three-person rear seat option.

The CC's appeal lies in its distinctive design, which still looks modern today. It offers a premium European driving experience for a fraction of the cost of its luxury-brand counterparts.
