Summary
This tube frame race car, originally an MX-6, was re-bodied as a 3rd generation RX-7 in 1997 and raced at Sebring and Daytona, driven by David Loring and Brian Johnson of AC/DC. Recently restored after being acquired in a dismantled state, it features a peripheral-port 13B rotary engine sending 330 horsepower to a rear-mounted Hewland DGB 5-speed transaxle. The sale includes $60k in restoration receipts and an extensive spares package.
