Aston Martin Vanquish

Launched in 2001, the Aston Martin Vanquish served as the brand's flagship grand tourer. The first generation, designed by Ian Callum and built until 2007, was the final model produced at the historic Newport Pagnell factory. It featured a 5.9L V12 and gained fame as the James Bond car in *Die Another Day*. A second generation, built on the VH architecture, arrived in 2012 with a more powerful V12 and updated technology, running until 2018.

Collectors prize the first-generation cars for their hand-built construction and connection to Aston's past, though its automated manual gearbox isn't for everyone. The second-generation cars offer a more modern driving experience with a superior ZF automatic transmission. Special editions, particularly the Vanquish S and the ultra-rare Zagato models, are the most desirable variants and command the highest prices.
