Chevrolet Corvette C6

The C6 Corvette, produced from 2005 to 2013, represented a significant evolution from its predecessor. It brought back exposed headlamps for the first time since 1962 and featured a shorter overall length despite a longer wheelbase, improving both its proportions and handling. The standard engine at launch was the 6.0L LS2 V8 with 400 hp, which was later upgraded to the 430 hp 6.2L LS3 in 2008.

The C6's collectibility is anchored by its high-performance variants. The Z06, with its 7.0L, 505 hp LS7 V8 and aluminum frame, offered supercar performance at a fraction of the price. In 2009, Chevrolet released the supercharged, 638 hp ZR1, which remains one of the most powerful Corvettes ever built. The Grand Sport model, introduced in 2010, combined the Z06's wide-body styling with the standard LS3 powertrain and became a very popular choice.
