Acura Integra 2nd Gen

The second-generation Acura Integra, sold from 1990 to 1993, represented a major leap forward in refinement and performance. Featuring a sleek, rounded body and sophisticated double-wishbone suspension at all four corners, it offered a sharper driving experience than its predecessor. Most cars came with the durable 1.8-liter B18A1 non-VTEC engine, which provided a reliable 130-140 hp.

The collector world's focus is squarely on the 1992-1993 GS-R model. It was the first Integra to feature Honda's VTEC system, using the high-revving 1.7-liter B17A1 engine to produce 160 hp with an 8,200 rpm redline. As these cars were staples of the 90s tuning scene, finding an unmodified example is exceptionally difficult and adds a significant premium. The GS-R's limited production run makes it the most desirable model by a wide margin.

The market for these Integras is broad. Heavily modified or high-mileage examples can still be found for just a few thousand dollars. However, prices for clean, original cars are rising steadily. The average sale price of around $10,500 indicates that well-kept base models are becoming appreciated classics, while the top of the market is defined by low-mileage GS-R examples, which can sell for over $30,000.
