The Aston Martin DBS launched in 2008 as the brand's flagship, effectively replacing the first-generation Vanquish S. Based on the DB9's VH architecture, the DBS featured more aggressive styling, extensive use of carbon fiber for body panels, and a tuned 5.9-liter V12 producing 510 hp. Its prominent role in the James Bond films *Casino Royale* and *Quantum of Solace* instantly made it a cultural icon.

Collectors appreciate the DBS for its combination of traditional GT elegance and modern performance, representing the pinnacle of the Gaydon-era Astons for many. It was one of the last flagship models offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox, a feature that makes it exceptionally desirable today.
