Introduced in 2013, the third-generation Ghibli (M157) was Maserati's entry into the executive sedan market, positioned below the larger Quattroporte. It was a volume-seller designed to compete with German rivals, offering rear-wheel or all-wheel drive (Q4) and, for the first time in Maserati's history, a diesel option outside the US.
